NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, which is a national-level medical entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in India. NEET is the single entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses, such as MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses in India, including private and government medical and dental colleges, except for the institutions established by an Act of Parliament like AIIMS and JIPMER. NEET is considered to be one of the toughest entrance exams in India due to its high competition, and it requires rigorous preparation and hard work to crack it. The exam is conducted once a year in offline mode (pen and paper-based) and comprises 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The duration of the exam is three hours.
